The Skilift in Nuuk is right across the road from the airport, only 10 minutes from the city center, and if you ever feel like people are missing from town on a weekend in March and April, you know where to find them.
Skiing and snowboarding are a hugely popular outdoor activities in Nuuk, and a you will find crews of snowboarders hanging out on the slopes literally every night throughout the season from February till May. For them it is a lifestyle as much as it is a sport, and they bring their street vibes to the mountain and make the best of the long winter.
