Near Upernavik archipelago, there are several very active ice fjords that produce a lot of large icebergs. The archipelago and ice creates very calm water.

The area contains several large birdcliffs and many small Inuit settlements. There are good opportunities for fishing, find mussels, mushrooms and herbs in the area.

Guest house is open whole year.
