Arctic Circle Race (Postponed to 2022)
March 26 - March 28Arctic Circle Race is considered by many to be the toughest and most beautiful cross-country skiing race in the world. Skiers from all over the world race 160 km across 3 days, spending nights camping in tents in the wilderness.

Ultra Trail Nuuk (Cancelled in 2021)
August 7The Ultra Trail Nuuk is a 72 km and more than 2000 altitude meters mountain race that will take place for the first time on Saturday, August 3rd 2019. The race is open to both men and women of 18 years old and up. It is very important that participants are well trained and prepared for mountain running.

Nuuk Marathon 2021
August 7 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pmFor those who prefer a city marathon, the Colourful Nuuk Marathon takes place towards the end of summer.

The Leif Eriksson Marathon
August 14The Leif Eriksson Marathon is named after the son of the fabled Viking, Erik the Red. The race's start and finish is in the settlement Qassiarsuk which rests on the site of Erik the Red's and Leif Eriksson's 10th century farm, Brattahlid. Now the entire area is deemed UNESCO world heritage.

The Polar Circle Marathon
October 30 - October 31The Polar Circle Marathon is unique in that it is the only marathon in which you can run on Greenland’s IceCap itself. The majority of the course, however, is run on road, which is often covered in snow, due to the race taking place in late October.
