The Nuuk Committee and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq proudly present the return of Aasapalaaq Festival, a joyful summer celebration for the whole family!
Mark your calendars for August 23rd, when Aqqalu’s Square becomes the stage for the coziest event of the summer. From 2 PM to 8 PM, expect a day full of games, storytelling, music, and activities for both children and adults – completely free of charge. The festival is alcohol-free and open to everyone.
Enjoy live performances by the legendary Rasmus Lyberth, the talented Piitannguaq Alaufesen, and a musical appearance by Maalia as Pippi Longstocking, bringing laughter and energy to the stage!
Aasapalaaq Festival is all about community, joy, and togetherness across generations. It’s a chance for everyone in the city to come together and celebrate summer in the spirit of unity.
Local associations will be offering food and beverages for sale during the event.
The full program will be announced very soon – stay tuned!
