3 days – 160 kilometers
The Asi Ultra Marathon is a distinctive Arctic stage race that takes you across Greenland’s frozen lakes, tundra, and sea ice covering at 160 kilometers in three days!
The rugged trail, etched by the paws of sled dogs in an ancient hunting grounds used by the Inuit for over 4,000 years, sets the stage for this race. Held in March, temperatures typically range from -5°C to -20°C. The sea ice remains solid and frozen, while the sun begins to reappear after the long dark winter, and at night, the Northern Lights shimmer above the campsites. Only 24 participants can compete – will you be one of them?
