Tasikuluulik Adventure Race is a multi-discipline race spanning two days consisting of trail running, kayaking, biking and rappelling.
All within a UNESCO world heritage area spotted by beautiful lakes and sheep farms.

Running of the Moskus
Half marathon fundraiser for the school in Kangerlussuaq.
The race is truly a Kangerlussuaq community effort. Many local businesses and groups, from tour companies to local artists and craftsmen, to the Kangerlussuaq school’s young student body, helps organize and host the event.

KangNu is a terrain running race that takes place in the fiord of Nuuk.
The participants are sailed to the start point in Kangerluaarsunnguaq which is a 10 min. sail trip. The finish line is in Nuuk, where spectators and the prize ceremony will be.
The run has three distances: Ultra run of 56 km (ITRA international approved), 35 km and 20 km (you can also choose to wander the 20 km).
Everyone is welcome.

Maaji Nuan!
Each year an entire month is dedicated to sport events in Greenland, which are free of charge.
Better known as ‘Maaji Nuan’ in Nuuk - the sport event takes place in several other towns in Greenland under different names, where they, just as in Nuuk, offer free sport activities to everyone.
‘Maaji Nuan!’ means ‘lovely May’ in Greenlandic and indeed it is a lovely month. Maaji Nuan!’s main focus is to strengthen the unity of the local community.
There are plenty of activities throughout the month. The activities spands from running on the landing strip in the airport, free fitness training, triathlon to soccer tournaments for the homeless and training in traditional Greenlandic polka dancing.

Ultra Trail Nuuk
The Ultra Trail Nuuk is a 72 km and more than 2000 altitude meters mountain race that will take place for the first time on Saturday, August 3rd 2019. The race is open to both men and women of 18 years old and up.
It is very important that participants are well trained and prepared for mountain running.

The Leif Eriksson Marathon is named after the son of the fabled Viking, Erik the Red.
The race's start and finish is in the settlement Qassiarsuk which rests on the site of Erik the Red's and Leif Eriksson's 10th century farm, Brattahlid.
Now the entire area is deemed UNESCO world heritage.

Tasermijit Marathon
Tasermijit Marathon is one of several marathon races in the region, said to be the 'easiest' of them all.
The route goes through the Tasiusaq settlement, fjord coastline and sheep farm, and it finishes with a series of elevation climbs to save the best view for last.
