Amaroks Inuit Roots – True Arctic Culture, Spirit & Storytelling from Greenland

About Us:

Amaroks Inuit Roots Adventures is a 100% Inuit-owned cultural and event company based in Nuuk, Greenland. Founded by Amarok S. Petersen – a Kalaaleq Inuk artist, cultural communicator, and activist – we bring Greenlandic traditions, stories, and art to life for audiences anywhere in Greenland or anywhere in the world.

As First Nations of Greenland, we carry ancestral knowledge, culture, and traditions passed down through generations. We stand without apology for our Inuit minorities, ensuring that their voices, knowledge, and heritage are honored. Amaroks works closely with Inuit delegates, guaranteeing that every project is rooted in authentic Inuit perspectives and community collaboration.

We combine authenticity and modernity, blending traditional Inuit art, storytelling, and performance with contemporary theater, dance, music, and multimedia. Our experiences are guided by a proud Inuk with our “wolf packs” Amaqqut (qimmit) – a strong, loyal, and connected team that works together to share Inuit culture, wisdom, and spirit with the world.

With over 15 years of experience in performance, theater, dance, tourism, filmmaking, event coordination, and cultural advocacy, we provide immersive experiences that are both deeply rooted and dynamically relevant.
