One of our popular activities is dogsledding and snowmobiling, allowing you to traverse the snowy landscapes of Ilulissat.
You can also try ice fishing, a traditional Greenlandic activity that lets you catch your own dinner.
Winter Adventures
We offer an icefishing excursion. We depart from Ilulissat, heading to the Ilulissat Icefiord, which lies 25 kilometers away. Your journey begins with a 40-45 minute snowmobile ride to reach the icefiord. From there, you’ll continue your adventure on the sea ice with a half-hour dogsledding expedition to the fishing area, covering approximately 6-7 kilometers. You’ll spend around 4-5 hours at the fishing area, where you can try your hand at pulling up longlines. The return trip to the snowmobile takes another half-hour via dogsled, and then you’ll follow the same snowmobile route back to Ilulissat. If you’re looking for an exciting experience, you can just have 2-3 hours of snowmobiling trip to Ilulissat Icefjord.

If you’re a wildlife enthusiast, don’t miss the Whale Safari. For those interested in glaciers, the Eqi Glacier is a must-see. You can witness calving events. Also we provide a guided tour to Oqaatsut. For a unique experience, consider taking a Midnight Cruise. This excursion allows you to enjoy the Arctic landscape under the magical midnight sun.
