Kulusuk and the Ammassalik area of East Greenland has a fascinating history.
Until Danish missionaries and merchants arrived in the area in 1884, people lived as nomad-hunters, isolated and unknown by the rest of the world.
A visit to Kulusuk Museum will provide insights on the life of the Tunumi Inuit of the east coast of Greenland, inter-woven in a personal account of a local family.
Most of the items on display once belonged to Justine’s parents, Karina and Jappili Boassen.
