Narsarsuaq – South Greenland

Narsarsuaq Museum

The museum was founded in 1991 and tells the story of the period as the American Blue-West One base from 1941.

It contains a large collection of pictures and items from the base, which was operational between 1941 and 1958.

The collection also has a section with focus on the Norse settlers who, led by Erik the Red, set foot in Greenland more than 1,000 years ago.
