Paamiut Adventures is a locally founded tour company based in Paamiut, Greenland. Our mission is to provide authentic, memorable, and personal experiences that showcase the beauty, wildlife, culture, and history of Greenland. We believe that the best way to experience Greenland is through the people who live here and know the area firsthand.
The company was founded by Nick Hermansen, a lifelong resident of Paamiut who has lived in the town for more than 22 years. Growing up surrounded by the ocean, mountains, wildlife, and traditional Greenlandic culture has given us a deep connection to the area and a genuine passion for sharing it with visitors from around the world.
What makes Paamiut Adventures unique is our local knowledge and strong partnerships with experienced local operators. We work closely with trusted boat charter companies, local guides, hunters, and fishermen to create experiences that go beyond the typical tourist route. Our guests are not simply observing Greenland – they are experiencing it through local eyes.
