The tour begins at Tupilak Travel’s office. The first stop is the animal skin sewing workshop, Kittat, where the guide describes traditional tanning of animal skin, the national costume and embroidering of animal skins for around half an hour.

Alternatively you can take the trip all the way to Kangeq and the island of Håbets ø. The famous artist Aron lived on Kangeq and it was here he painted his watercolours based on Greenlandic myths and legends.
The Danish missionary Hans Egede arrived in 1721 and lived there for 8 years. The ruins of his old house can still be seen on the island.
Tupilak Travel also has a trip all the way to Kangersuneq / Icefjord, which takes around two hours. The boat sails as close to the glacier as possible and you can enjoy your lunch with a view of the front of the glacier. The majority of trips include a delicious lunch onboard.
