The atmosphere is informal and we cater to people with all kinds of culinary preferences. Our gourmet kitchen is listed as one of the country’s best. Our chefs are masters in their fields and use only the very best Greenlandic and international produce. – And the experience is enhanced by the breath-taking views from the brasserie – to the port of Ilulissat and life on the waters of the Disco Bay between the gigantic icebergs.

Good morning, good day and good evening
When the alarm clock goes off and your tummy rumbles, it is time to enjoy the large breakfast buffet served at Brasserie Ulo. Here, you will find plenty to satisfy both your eyes and your stomach. At lunchtime and in the evenings, we serve a la carte from our inspiring menu with Greenlandic specialities served in international format.
Our menus are created according to what is seasonally available. We are, thus, in daily contact with local fishermen and sealers to be able to serve our guests with the best of the local produce. Ice, wind and fog are factors which affect our ability to procure the items in question – and factors which we do not control. For this reason, we are often required to adapt our dishes to what is available on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, our menu should been viewed as guidance and not as definitive options.
Our baker prepares delicious, homemade bread for each meal and our butcher ensures that we receive the right cuts of meat and fish. In addition, we serve beer from our local brewery here in Ilulissat.
