Maniitsoq Lodges is a small company with two lodges: Inussuit Lodge and Ikkamiut Lodge. We are a young couple (Salik and Mette) working full time on our dream - and we absolutely love it!
We want to show all of our gust how amazing Maniitsoq and its surroundings are, and to create experiences that will never be forgotten. That is why both of our lodges are made and renovated with our own blood, sweat and tears and why we prioritises to do our adventure tours with our guest ourselves.
We are very much looking forward showing you around and creating unique experiences together in one of the world’s most beautiful places.

Experiences offered at Maniitsoq Lodges
Inussuit Lodge is a lodge that is available for renting all year. It has running water, solar power and wifi. There are beds for 12 people. A large shared living room and kitchen and a terrace with a stunning view. We have tried to create a bit of off grid luxury in this lodge.
Inussuit Lodge is opening for guest in March 2025.
Ikkamiut Lodge is an old church house. It has been used many, many years for school camps, get aways, weekend stays ect. It has 2 bedrooms with 12 bunk beds in each and a lot of extra madrases. There is a large common room with a kitchen and a large room at the end of the house, where playing, teaching or just hanging out is possible. It is an obvious opportunity for schools, institutions, colleges. It has no electricity, no running water and not that many sports with telephone connection. It is by no means luxurious – BUT you are really living simple and side by side with nature, when you are stying here. And that its what it is all about out here.
In addition to our lodges, we also provide adventure tours: Whale safari, hiking, sailing and fly fishing. We have a concession in a river called “Little Narsaq” where it is possible to book individual days by the river, or to book a whole stay with us (food and accommodation) in one of our lodges which are both located close to the river.
When we’re not busy making this, we run the Facebook page “Exploring Maniitsoq”, where we collect and promote attractions and photos with help from the other locals, so current and future guests in Maniitsoq knows what they can experience in our city.
