Riding Greenland had the first tour in the summer of 2016 and has been increasing the tours every summer since. The main theme for guests to see is the glacier and icebergs in the sea. We ride around the area of sheep farmers in South Greenland and will see many norse and Inuit ruins during the rides. There is a high request from riders all over the world, to attend on a riding tour in South Greenland. It is important for Riding Greenland to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable in our hands, and also to feel that they get to know our home and the local sheep farmer.

Experiences offered at Riding Greenland
The horses we use for our tours are all well-trained Icelandic horses. We do require the riders to have good experience in riding horses, due to the difficult terrain in Greenlandic nature.
Besides the riding tour, Riding Greenland’s hostel is open for non-riders as well. Riding Greenland Hostel has both private and shared rooms available with possibility of buying breakfast, lunch and dinner with dessert, or you can bring food and cook for yourself. There are in total 12 rooms, 6 toilets, 3 showers, a dining room and two kitchens, one for the chef and the other for guests who like to cook for themselves. The hostel rents out fishing equipment for guests who like to try fishing from land and it is also possible to rent an ATV from a nearby farm.
There is a cafe and a local store in the village as well, to buy food, cooked food and souvenirs.
