Restaurant Sarfalik, located on the top floor of Hans Egede, offers a unique dining experience.
Our brasserie, inspired by French and Italian cuisines, highlights the best seasonal produce from our local suppliers. We aim to create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy exciting culinary experiences without breaking the bank.
Our wine bar is an integral part of the restaurant. Whether you’re joining us for a meal or just a drink, you’re always welcome to savor a glass or a quality bottle of wine. With stunning views of the town, the inlet, and the mountains, it’s the perfect setting for spending time with colleagues, friends, or enjoying a quiet drink after a wonderful day in Nuuk.

Experiences offered at Sarfalik Winebar & Brasserie
We take pride in the quality of our wine service. The bottles used for serving single glasses are stored in wine stations from the American company NAPA Technology, ensuring each glass is served without compromising on quality or taste.
The name Sarfalik is Greenlandic for “polynya,” reflecting the rich waters of Greenland, known for their numerous inlets and bays. The tidal range here is about 4 to 5 meters, creating an ideal environment for polynyas. These areas are often located near old settlements and villages, historically significant for their abundant hunting and fishing opportunities, which vary with the seasons. Thus, we named our restaurant Sarfalik, symbolizing the seasonal bounty we bring to your table.
