This house of culture combines the experience of arts, cinema, events and a meal with the view of the lake and the mountains.

THE CULTURE HOUSE OF SISIMIUT

If one is interested in art it is a good idea to visit Taseralik. The house opened its doors to an enthusiastic audience in 2008. Ever since, the place has been the focal point of an abundance of art and culture events.

In the foyer you find Café Taseralik overlooking the beautiful view of the lake Nalunnguarfiup Tasia. Here it is possible to have a meal or a cup of coffee while enjoying the view.

It may sound as if there is no room for the art but don’t worry, there is! In the foyer you can devote your time viewing the varying art exhibitions that also are displayed here.

In a town where no profound art galleries exist it has many advantages to display the art in a company that already has a large and regular audience. Moreover, it is praiseworthy that Taseralik insists on showing new and versatile art from home and abroad, which both locals and guests of the town benefit from.
