Nuuk Half Marathon

The Nuuk Halvmarathon (Half Marathon) is a relatively flat route, mostly on asphalt. The marathon is held with start and finish from Royal Arctic Line's headquarters.

Atlantic Music held an anniversary festival in 2008, and was encouraged by bands and musicians to make it an annual festival. Subsequently it became the Akisuanerit Festival. The festival is visited by 2500-3500 people every year.
