In Vikings: Valhalla (2022), a historical series on Netflix, the two Greenlandic Vikings, Leif Eriksson and Freydís Eiríksdóttir immediately caught our eyes. As descendants of Erik the Red, they proudly say that they are from Greenland. In Greenland, not only Inuit people but also Vikings had been living in South Greenland for more than 400 years.

Imagine yourself running by the breathtaking scenery of the Ilulissat Icefjord under the midnight sun. Especially if you are an active night owl, you don't want to miss this event.
A trail running race from Oqaatsut to Ilulissat offers different distances, with the main race being about 22 km. But shorter distances are also available. The race starts at noon.
